The Tinsel and Treasures 2013 Market in Lafayette was great fun and we were able to enjoy some of the local Resturants in the evenings. We found out that Ruffino's on the River  stays open late so Veal Parmesan was a must. The Lafayette locals told us about Saint Street where they " pull together the best of what Acadiana has to offer: from its fresh local produce and seafood to its finest smoked meats and artisan breads and cheeses." I scarfed  down the warm Lentil salad with sauted Chantrelles and a blasamic reduction topped with local goat cheese.  Our last night , we snagged a table at Pamplona Tapas Bar  in downtown Lafayette .Little plates are a  pleasant change to order  and to be able to have several bite size portions such as  the Ciabatta Loaf with garlic chilli and Bacon wrapped dates stuffed with Valdeon blue cheese and served over almond sauce. I had tremendous help to run my booth for three days and Icould not have done it with out Jack Doggett prepping and styling our samples , my son Sean hauling and unloading all our merchandies  and my precious sister Janie, who has turned out to be a great salesman.
