Blackberry Baked Brie in a Box with

Delightful Palate’s Wild Mayhaw Berry

 1 cup, fresh blackberries

¼ cup Delightful Palate’s Wild Mayhaw Berry

2 teaspoons agave or honey

1 circle of Brie or Camembert cheese

¼ teaspoon sea salt

Lemon or orange zest

Mint and chives for garnish

Crusty French Bread for dipping

 

Preheat oven to 400F

Put the blackberries agave and Wild Mayhaw Berry in a small baking dish stir to combine and bake for 15 minutes. The blackberries will roast and create a reduction of a syrup with the Wild Mayhaw Berry .


Take the cheese out of the wrapping and cut the top rind off, cutting only about ¼ inch down, just to take off the top rind. Place the cheese back into its wooden box, or directly on a parchment lined baking sheet, rind side down.

Put the roasted blackberries and mayhaw mixture over the cheese and sea salt. Bake for 8-10 minutes, until cheese if visibly melts.

 

Take out of oven and drizzle with syrup. Top the blackberries., with fresh herbs and grated zest. Serve with crackers or baguettes for dipping. Enjoy!
