Christmas Cream Puffs Recipe by Mama Rosie

Cream puffs right out of the oven

Makes 12 large or 24 small

1 stick butter

1 cup boiling water

1 cup plain flour

4 eggs

Vanilla or Chocolate Jell-o pudding, cook as directed on the box using whole milk

  1. In 2 1/2-quart saucepan, heat water and butter to rolling boil. Stir in flour (do not sift); reduce heat to low. Stir vigorously over low heat about 1 minute or until mixture forms a ball; remove from heat. Beat in eggs, one at a time; continue beating until smooth. Drop by  a spoonful on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 40- 45 minutes. As soon as you remove them from the oven prick them with  knife to let the steam out. Cut the tops off and fill with pudding.
