Refrigerator Oatmeal

Refrigerator Oatmeal

Serves 1

½ cup oats

1 tablespoon chia seeds

 ½ banana, chopped

1 cup almond milk or water

1/8 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp natural sweetner, raw sugar, agave

1 egg or 2 egg whites

Soak chia seeds, oats and one cup of almond milk or water overnight. In the morning heat up oats in the microwave for 1 minute an 30 seconds. Add your egg, heat up for another minute and stop and stir to oatmeal with a fork to break up the egg. Heat up for another minute or until egg is fully cooked. Add chopped banana and stir into oatmeal. Then add a splash of almond milk, sugar, and cinnamon.

Or , in the morning stir in yogurt, fruit, and serve cold.

Other versions: add cocoa powder and strawberries, nut butters.
